Creamy, savory, lightly sweet and tangy chicken salad with that signature deli-scoop vibe. Easy, reliable, and meal-prep friendly.
Chicken salad is one of those recipes that feels almost too basic to have opinions about, until you take a bite of a really good one. Then suddenly you care about texture, you care about acid, and you absolutely care about whether it tastes like fridge leftovers or something you would happily pay for at a cafe.
This is my take on a classic deli-style chicken salad. It is creamy but not heavy, crunchy in all the right places, and just sweet enough from grapes to keep things interesting. It is also forgiving, which is my favorite kind of recipe. If your celery is a little tired or your chicken is a little dry, the dressing and a few small tricks bring it right back to life.
