This Cadillac margarita is crisp, citrusy, and just fancy enough. Made with reposado tequila, fresh lime, and Grand Marnier for a smooth orange finish.
If you’ve ever had a margarita that tasted like lime candy, a sour patch, or straight up orange soda, I am here to bring you back to center. The classic margarita is simple, sharp, and ridiculously satisfying when it is balanced: good tequila, fresh lime, a little orange liqueur, and just enough sweetness to keep it from turning into a face-pucker.
This is my go-to version for at-home mixing because it is accessible (no rare syrups), consistent (a clean ratio you can memorize), and forgiving (you can nudge it sweeter or stronger without breaking the drink). Make one for taco night, make a pitcher for friends, or make a single and call it “kitchen therapy.”
