A quick skillet side with crisp edges, bright lemon, and garlicky butter. Simple ingredients, big payoff, ready in 15 minutes.
Frozen green beans are the weeknight secret weapon I keep in the freezer at all times. They’re already trimmed, already washed, and they go from “solid block of winter” to “actually craveable vegetable” in about the time it takes to cook pasta.
This is my favorite way to do it: hot skillet, a little oil, then butter and garlic at the end so it stays loud and fragrant. We finish with lemon to wake everything up and Parmesan for that salty, cozy payoff. The goal is crisp edges, bright flavor, and zero sogginess.
