A reliable banana bread recipe built for two ripe bananas. Easy pantry ingredients, clear steps, and the tender, golden loaf you want every time.
Two bananas. That is the entire plot. Not three, not four, not a freezer stash you forgot about. Just two ripe bananas staring at you like, “So… what now?”
This is my go-to 2 banana bread when I want something cozy but not complicated. The crumb is soft and tender, the top gets that classic golden dome, and the edges come out just crisp enough to make you “accidentally” cut a second slice. It is sweet, but not dessert-level sweet, and the banana flavor actually shows up even though we are working with a smaller amount of fruit.
Keep it classic, or toss in chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or a little swirl of cinnamon sugar. Either way, you are about an hour away from your kitchen smelling like a bakery that has its life together.
