Sweet Italian sausage, a garlicky tomato cream sauce, and spinach tossed with pasta. Fast enough for a weeknight, good enough to serve to friends.
If you have a pack of ground turkey and a box of pasta, you are already dangerously close to a great dinner. This one is my go-to when I want cozy carbs and a sauce that tastes like you tried harder than you did.
The trick is building flavor in layers: brown the turkey until you get a few crisp edges, bloom a little garlic and Italian seasoning, then let tomato paste do that deep, savory thing it does. A splash of cream makes it silky, and a handful of spinach makes you feel like a responsible adult.
