A five-ingredient sandwich with crisp edges, melty cheese, and a toasted roll. Fast, cozy, and wildly satisfying.
Shaved beef steak is one of my favorite grocery store shortcuts because it cooks fast, gets those crispy little edges, and basically begs to be piled into bread with something melty on top. This is my low-drama, high-reward take on a steak sandwich: sweet browned onions, garlicky mayo, provolone, and a quick pan sauce moment that makes everything taste like you tried harder than you did.
It’s weeknight friendly, but it still has that pause-mid-bite energy. And yes, we are seasoning like we mean it.
