Cozy cinnamon muffins with a buttery cinnamon sugar crust. Pantry staples, no mixer, and that bakery-style top you want.
Fall baking has a very specific vibe. The oven is finally doing its job, your kitchen smells like cinnamon, and suddenly you are the kind of person who owns multiple types of apples on purpose. These apple cider donut muffins are my favorite way to get that classic orchard donut flavor without babysitting a pot of oil.
The secret is reducing apple cider until it is syrupy and concentrated. It turns a simple muffin into something that tastes like it spent the afternoon at a farm stand. Then we do the best part: a quick dip in melted butter and a roll in cinnamon sugar so the outside gets that donut shop sparkle and a little crunch.
