Fall-apart tender pork shoulder (Boston butt) made easy in the slow cooker with a bold, tangy sauce. Great for meal prep, sandwiches, tacos, and rice bowls.
Pulled pork in the slow cooker (Crock-Pot) is my favorite kind of kitchen magic: you do something small in the morning, and by dinner you have tender, juicy pork that tastes like it has been babysat all day by someone wearing a cool apron.
This version is cozy, saucy, and flexible. You can keep it classic for sandwiches, pile it into tacos, or tuck it into rice bowls with whatever is hanging out in your fridge. I will also show you my low-drama trick for getting those crisp, browned edges at the end, because soft shredded pork is great, but crispy bits are what make people hover near the pan “just to taste.”
