Slow cooker pork ribs with big flavor, minimal effort. Finish under the broiler for sticky, crisp-edged BBQ ribs.
Pork spare ribs are one of those foods that make the kitchen feel like home. They are messy in a good way, they smell like you are doing something impressive, and they reward patience like few other cuts can.
This is my go-to oven method for spare ribs when I want that deep tenderness and crisp, caramelized edges. We bake them low and slow under foil until a toothpick slides in easily, then crank the heat and paint on a quick glaze that hits sweet, tangy, and just enough garlicky bite to make you go back for “one more rib” three more times.

No smoker, no special gear, no drama. Just a sheet pan, foil, and a little confidence in your seasoning.
